When you create an account: name, email address, and payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never see your full card number). When you use the platform: product URLs you analyze, ad images you upload, analysis results, and feature usage data.
To provide the service: running analyses, generating copy, grading ads. To improve the platform: understanding which features are used most. To communicate with you: account updates, billing notifications, and product announcements. To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your personal data to anyone. We don't share your analysis results with other users. We don't use your uploaded ad images or product data to train AI models. We don't send spam or share your email with third-party marketers.
We use these services to run MarketRecon: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (analysis processing), Vercel (hosting), Reddit API (public thread data). Each has their own privacy policy.
Your data is stored securely on cloud servers. Analysis history and ad library data is currently stored in your browser's local storage. We plan to migrate to server-side storage in the future.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. No advertising or tracking cookies.
You can: access your data by viewing your account and analysis history, delete your account and data by contacting us, export your data through PDF exports, opt out of marketing emails at any time.
We keep your account data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized usage statistics may be retained.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication through Clerk, and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe.
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated by email.
